integrated with all major programmatic trading marketplaces including AppNexus,

deploying standard segments in 30+ languages. Grapeshot has offices in

The APAC Editor’s role is to build, quality approve and maintain the word clouds and synonyms
that define Grapeshot’s world class segmentation taxonomy, across current and future APAC
This will involve:
Dealing with category definitions - sets of terms (keywords), arranged in a hierarchical
Running a QA procedure against category definitions produced by external translators.
Maintaining existing category sets; this involves finding and solving problems with the
definitions and also adding new definitions when events, people and products enter the
Manage and coordinate work of third party translators, QA, and monitoring services
across the region.
QA-ing third party monitoring services work for APAC languages.
Category reviews, across APAC languages. This will involve:
o identifying trending terms from relevant web content, such as news feeds,
related articles, identifying new context etc.
o identifying terms which should be removed from segments, such as terms
which overlap from other segments, out-of- date terms, terms which have
changed context etc.
o reviewing impression data and responding to peaks and troughs of segment
o = reviewing additions made to segments in other languages.
o = identifying suggested terms which could be added to the segments.
Segment reviews from third-parties. This will involve:
o = Checking to make sure that no segments have been added or deleted.
o = Checking the number of segments that have been edited.
o = Checking the terms added and deleted from each segment.
o = QA of New Languages
Carry out daily vigilance:
o Updating global terms across the set, based on updates to the English set.
o Proactive event matching across all APAC taxonomies
o Testing language sets against regional news.
Working closely with the local commercial and support teams and responding in a
timely fashion to external or internal customer requests.
Help specify and UAT test any required technical tools the Editorial team may need
from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed
Management of outsourced work and teams
Understanding of metadata, subject classification, description cataloguing, user
experience, and knowledge organization
Proficiency in one or more APAC languages, preferably Chinese.
