TheAssistant Site Coordinatoris responsible for providing assistance to the Good Shepherd Programs in the development and management of daily contractual requirements.
Reports To: PROGRAM DIRECTOR, EAST FORDHAM ACADEMY FOR THE ARTS
Location: 120 East 184th Street, Bronx, NY 10468
Hours: 25 hours, Exempt
+ Assist with the distribution and collection of information and organization of files/ records, specifically registration and enrollment.
+ Track and input student records and attendance in the DYCD databases/ youth services or related databases.
+ Provide overall leadership and administration of Good Shepherd Programs in the absence of Program Director
+ Assist Program Director in the development of all after school schedules.
+ Coordinate and plan program activities and culminating events.
+ Provide assistance to group leaders in the development and implementation of integrated learning, recreational and social activities for youth.
+ Network and outreach to community organizations to provide services and information to program participants
+ Develop, plan and facilitate parent involvement activities.
+ Produce monthly calendars.
+ Provide coverage for groups in the event of staff member s absence.
+ Attend all staff meetings and required professional development activities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ Associates Degree or equivalent in college credits and significant equivalent experience in youth program leadership.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
+ Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based, youth and family development and trauma-informed perspective.
