Business Development Manager

Job Summary: Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned account list. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Develop a trusted partnership relationship with key personnel on the agency and client side. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders.

 

Your impact: To exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets by closing new opportunities and growing existing wallet size.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.

  • Ability to sell and close effectively over the telephone and email.

  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence.

  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement.

  • Strong listening skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with senior executives.

  • Drive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines

  • Attend sales and product trainings.

  • Provide accurate weekly/monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, Media and/or Digital sales preferred.  

  • Excellent sales skills and a proven track record of achieving KPI’s

  • Ability to clearly articulate and communicate the core Adweek value proposition to clients

  • Self-motivated and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed

  • Drive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines
