Steptoe, an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks a D&I Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success assisting with diversity initiative implementation. The D&I Coordinator will support the Manager and all firm committees relating to D&I. The D&I Coordinator will take notes at D&I meetings, maintain firm-wide diversity statistics, compile and disseminate firm-wide diversity surveys, coordinate D&I event and program logistics, monitor recruitment, retention, mentoring and promotion of diverse attorneys, draft internal and external communications, and assist Manager with the creation and management of the D&I budget. Bachelor s degree, strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (oral and written), Microsoft Word application proficiency (expertise in Excel), understanding of the implications of D&I in the workplace and ability to handle and process confidential information in a professional manner are necessary.
