New Account Coordinator - WEST L.A.

Job Description

Great opportunity to work for a large investment management company in West L.A. Looking for strong administrative candidate to assist with implementation of new vendor system called Aladdin. This is a 6 month contract with an hourly rate of $30.43.

Must have strong coordination skills as they will be communicating with Blackrock and team. Candidate needs to be comfortable with data entry, being a liaison and tracking day to day work as this is a new position working with a newly implemented program. Experience with Aladdin a plus but not necessary.

Job Description:

Aladdin Account Coordinator

Contractor Responsibilities

The Account Coordinator will be responsible for manually populating new account information into the system and monitoring day to day activities throughout the Aladdin implementation process.

Key Responsibilities

Manually populate new account information within the newly implemented Blackrock vendor based system Aladdin.

Perform data entry of new account template by using data provided by external departments and by directly extracting data from our systems.

Track day to day activities during the implementation

Monitor the status of the template, following up if necessary

Validate components of submission are reflected in Aladdin accurately. Resolve discrepancies with Blackrock as needed.

Time track coordination activities, identify system validation discrepancies, and/or develop/amend procedures as directed.

Counterparty Configuration Coordination

Key Responsibilities:

Set-up the Counterparty Operational Readiness Checklist (CORC) when new fixed income/derivative brokers are approved.

Monitor checklist s status due to the required completion of tasks by multiple groups.

Complete components of Blackrock template and coordinate with Trade Operations with final submission to Blackrock.

Validate components of submission are reflected in trading system accurately. Resolve discrepancies with Blackrock as needed.

Collaborate/liaise with lead counterparty analyst or other CORC users as needed.

Time track coordination activities, identify system validation discrepancies, and/or develop/amend procedures as directed.
