Senior Manager Marketing

Senior Manager, Marketing

Adweek is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing with experience in brand communications, revenue marketing and public relations to join our growing team and contribute to the success of the leading provider of industry news and events serving the brand marketing ecosystem.

The Senior Manager, Marketing will report to the Senior Director, Marketing.  Responsibilities include:


Marketing

• Supporting Senior Director, Marketing as a strong second department lead • Composing sales presentations in response to RFPs

• Creating and maintaining up-to-date library of sales collateral

• Managing owned and paid efforts to support Adweek events, products, and advertising opportunities via email, social media, digital, print and other channels

• Ensuring brand messaging is consistent throughout all marketing materials


PR

• Driving PR strategy around Adweek events, editorial initiatives and all public-facing communications

• Maintaining relationships with relevant media and influencer contacts

• Leveraging opportunities for exposure for the Adweek brand and tracking media impressions

• Identifying and securing speaking opportunities for senior Adweek executives

• Leading efforts to nominate Adweek for relevant industry awards and recognition


Job requirements include:

• 5+ years’ experience in PR/Marketing

• Exceptional communication skills

• Experience composing press releases and conducting media outreach

• Strong command of marketing concepts and best practices

• Proficiency in Power Point

• Ability to take initiative and lead projects while maintaining a collaborative approach

• Desire to learn, take on new challenges and expand skill set

• Strong work ethic and team player attitude
