Proposal Specialist

Job Descriptions:
The Proposal Specialist is responsible for delivering smart and persuasive proposals, RFPs and pitches to prospective clients, writing original content independently or collaborating with discipline leaders in the agency. The individual fulfilling this role will be a talented writer, high performing task master and able to thrive under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Understand client business goals and strategic imperatives to help guide proposal team
+ Build and maintain a new business asset repository including proposal templates and documents, company credentials and capabilities, team bios and client references, case studies and proposal materials
+ Draft, proof and edit proposal materials in MS Word and/or InDesign
+ Work with discipline leads to develop new content responding to specific RFP questions
+ Coordinate with discipline leaders, sales engineering and sales executives to deliver smart & savvy proposals and pitches with flawless execution
Required Experience:
Education:
+ Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
Experience and Training:
+ Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience
+ Possess industry expertise in Marketing, Communications and technology
+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
+ Resourceful; ability to move projects forward with little oversight
+ Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-drive, entrepreneurial environment
Technical Knowledge:
+ Familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
