Looking for enthusiastic and caring person with non-profit and marketing skills.
This is a part-time position assisting our Director with the business management and operations as well as networking for marketing of a small Boulder Adult Day Program. Health Care Experience is helpful and passion for working with older adults with dementia is essential.
Position is approximately 10 to 15 hours per week and schedule is negotiable. Program operates Mon-Fri 10am-3:30pm. Specific duties include billing, marketing, grant writing, networking, community outreach, coordinating staff schedules, creative problem solving, and interacting with participants and families in a caring, respectful way.
Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, comfortable daytime environment where seniors can have their social, mental, emotional, physical, and recreational needs met. Almost all of our participants come to feel that we are the right place for them to be each day. They look forward to being part of a community where they are loved and appreciated, where they can still offer themselves as a resource to others. Our staff treats participants with the respect that every adult deserves.
A major secondary goal of our program is to give caregivers some much needed respite. Being the soul caregiver for someone we love is an honor, and it is also an intensely difficult job. Caregivers desperately need to work, run errands, attend to other family members, care for themselves, in addition to managing the full time job of caring for their loved one. They need to feel like their wife or father is in good hands and enjoying themselves. In the long run, our participants are able to stay home longer because our program helps caregivers maintain their own emotional balance and physical health.
Company DescriptionOur vision is to compassionately and professionally meet and exceed the participant and family expectations for quality adult day care services.
