Solutions Engineer for Saas Digital Advertising Analytics Company

Job Description

Job Summary

Sales Engineer works across departments with the marketing department, sales, account management, support and engineering. This position is instrumental in ensuring focused and productive communication through various client meetings, webinars, online and printed materials. Sales engineer will be responsible for new business and client retention support initiatives for all products, services, and fulfillment of the company objectives. Functional teams will rely on sales engineer to be the product expert and Ad-Juster evangelist.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the sales team on demos to ensure use case, pain points, required customizations, and product benefits are addressed.

  • Develop strategies to help sales close deals, reduce sales cycles, and save at risk clients.

  • Assist AM team on renewal calls/visits for new product introductions

  • Prepare technical proposals and work on technical RFP/RFI responses

  • Establish new accounts and assist the Sales team in implementing new clients

  • Understand and learn all aspects of product feature and functions. Use independent judgement and creativity in applying our products to the client use case.

  • Develop customer power users by providing technical information and training

  • Track all metrics and objectives for weekly/monthly team reporting

    • Number of calls/visits

    • Open Tickets

  • Utilize Product, Content writer, and Design resources to create customer-facing training and implementation documentation.

  • Submit feature requests and customizations for Product review

  • Sales Engineer will interface with engineering to ensure the design for features on the roadmap are communicated clearly to them.

  • Role will report directly to the VP, Client Services

  • Weekly work schedule is flexible to accommodate west coast clients, as determined by the VP, Client Services

  • Travel for customer meetings as required.


  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.

  • Experience in Sales/Solutions Engineer role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must take your work seriously, be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Maintain a professional manner and tone among clients and internal team

  • Must be able to work legally in the USA and pass a background check

Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and 3+years experience in Product Management.
