Supervisor, Programmatic

The Supervisor, Programmatic (BRAND NEW POSITION!) will lead programmatic strategy across all KSM accounts (from large national brands to small local brands), as well as oversee/assist with execution when needed. You must have a strong working knowledge of programmatic platforms and an in-depth understanding of the digital advertising marketplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help client teams to develop robust programmatic strategies for each of their campaigns; push teams to think outside the box, test new approaches / partners and develop customized initiatives
  • Participate in new business strategy development, meetings and client presentations
  • Evaluate new and existing partners in the space
  • Work with publishers and data providers to have a robust understanding of their out of the box and custom programmatic capabilities; work with each of the teams to help provide suggestions/targeting adjustments
  • Create and develop solutions to streamline operations, improve consistency and increase team efficiency
  • Audit the campaign set-up, performance and viewability of programmatic campaigns and help teams to improve
  • Ensure accuracy within platform execution
  • Create guides/instructions and make sure all processes and procedures are thoroughly documented
  • Train new team members or other departments on programmatic buying
  • Initiate and participate in brainstorming sessions with colleagues in other departments to better address client needs
  • Problem solve with innovative and creative approaches
  • Build and maintain productive internal relationships; become a trusted adviser and source of knowledge within the department
  • Build and maintain trusted external relationships with the sales, account management and support team of our programmatic partners

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of digital advertising experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in programmatic platforms
  • Managerial experience executing programmatic campaigns within various platforms (preferred)
  • Extensive campaign stewardship and optimization experience
  • In-depth knowledge of advertising technology, overall online advertising environment and current market landscape
  • Proficient with Excel, being able to utilize all advanced excel features (V-lookup, pivot tables, if functions)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; you will be communicating daily with internal client teams, senior staff and clients
