Title:Digital Marketing Analyst / PM Location: San Ramon CA Terms: Contract Extra Notes from Manager: The manager is looking for someone that can hit the ground running. The project itself will be creating a reporting solution for the project platform. This opportunity will be mostly collaborative. Working with IT, marketing, Social Media and vendor selection work. It will essentially be an end to end platform build. Great project management skills will be required. The resource should be able to create the project plan and timeline then be able to execute by using influence management. The contractor will be working very closely with the engagement manager during collaboration but will later have more autonomy as the project progresses. Job Details: Responsibilities: This positions will be a digital marketing analyst who will need to have strong project management skills. They are not required to have a PMP certification, it is only a nice to have. Please make sure when submitting you target 90% of the MNTE for this role The Digital Analyst will use digital tools and analytics to provide insights that advance Chevron s business globally. The ideal candidate will develop reports and dashboards for internal clients and help the team build and grow its analytical capabilities. This person will stay current with best practices for communications and advocacy performance measurement for digital and social media, including a strong ability to interpret and measure the effectiveness of influencer campaigns. Candidates must have a strong foundation in digital analytics (Web, Advertising and Social Media) Success in this role requires not only strong data manipulation and analytical skills but also strong communication skills, project management skills, initiative and demonstrated experience with cross functional teams. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Project manage and consult on systems to measure the effectiveness of Chevron s digital communications programs. Develop data visualizations and presentations that tell the analytical story. Evaluate and advance new analytical tools, data sources and analytical processes to advance our business Required Qualifications: Good writing, oral communication, and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with management Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail Expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to tell a story using data Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence business partners Ability to condense information and transform technical data into easily understandable concepts. Experience working to improve a marketing or communications campaign. Knowledge of the digital analytics ecosystem ( Marketing technology): web, advertising and social media Web Analytic, Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics- for instance how banner ads connect etc .be able to find a platform to combine all Marketing information Bachelor s Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent required Requires 10 years minimum prior relevant experience.
