Job Description Seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who will create, execute, monitor and analyze all digital outreach for Farm Journals Audience Development Department through including email and social media campaigns. This position is highly technical, yet requires strategic focus. Responsibilities include: Collaborates with the team to plan, coordinate and implement digital marketing campaigns through CDP and marketing automation software Provides strategic oversight of email and social nurturing campaigns, marketing and recruiting campaigns, campaign process documentation, and A/B testing across multiple devices Writes and builds scalable campaigns that drive brand awareness and nurture leads using irresistible calls-to-action for target audiences Develops and publishes content that is consistent with the Farm Journal brand Supports the regular measuring and performance reporting of all digital campaigns and works closely with team through analysis and testing to optimize click-through and conversion rates Analyzes quantitative data to provide closed loop reporting on campaign effectiveness to measure pipeline movement and to identify areas of opportunity to maximize campaign efficacy Ensures all content is current and makes regular updates to keep campaigns fresh and interesting Identifies and recommends desktop and mobile site functionality improvements, proactively, and collaborates to support implementation Supports existing and new offerings and initiatives Analyzes performance of content on all campaigns for continual improvement Prerequisites: Knowledge/Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, design and creative skills, especially for use across all digital channels Understanding of current digital marketing and electronic communication principles and best practices Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytic skills Knowledge of desktop and mobile web content management, usability, photo/image editing, measurement tools Knowledgeable with HTML and comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools and technology associated with digital media Digital marketing experience with Lytics and Marketo marketing automation software preferred Experienced in social media marketing campaigns (Facebook, Twitter) Abilities: Strong attention to detail with ability to translate strategy into creative concepts Able to present concepts clearly and accurately and to keep others informed Self-starting, capable of working independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a fast-paced team Organized and able to prioritize projects and meet multiple deadlines Experience in publishing/media industry preferred Proven track record writing customer-facing content that is on-brand, relevant, and tailored to the digital audience Minimum Education and Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience in digital/online marketing with Marketo experience preferred BA/BS require Experience with mobile optimization Experience with marketing automation/analytics software (i.e. Google Analytics, Marketo) is required Company Description Farm Journal is the recognized leader in the B2B agriculture media / business information market.
