Digital Media Coordinator
The position is an innovative and creative role that supports the Digital Media strategy of the Marketing Department. This role requires the passionate capabilities to deliver a creative digital media presence and coordinate content messaging. This role will perform responsibilities that support our social media presence and online branding strategy.
Contribute ideas and share ideas to help foster department growth and vitality
Develop/storyboard, pitch, research and generate content and ways to tell stories, highlight products and promote events.
Management of multimedia assets including editing, organizing and archiving of video, photos, scans, raw files, etc.
Edit digital content using video and photo sources to be published on corporate social media platforms nationally and regionally.
Maintain constant dialogue with audience over social media/Instagram daily.
Prospect for clients and contacts on social media and disperse information through appropriate channels
Update all social media platform pages regularly
Help maintain accuracy of website and product identification
Track all digital media statistics and circulate monthly
Plan and execute small-scale photo/video shoots, working with VP of Marketing and the house photographer to create flat and editorial photography seasonally.
Maintain photography supplies.
Interact with PR/Promotions to publicize events and relevant editorial on social media platforms.
Assist and participate in Ad shoot production logistics and on set.
Maintain knowledge of current and next-gen hosting services, technologies and production solutions.
Is able to meet deadlines under tight timeframes. Ability and flexibility to juggle multiple projects at once.
Excellent organizational skills, especially managing a wide variety of projects, schedules, and content.
Demonstrate on-going curiosity and desire for understanding and expanding knowledge base of product, clientele and industry. A tendency to think outside the box and be creative.
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum of 3 year’s experience in a relevant and similar role College degree in communications/marketing 2+ years of professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop Familiarity with technology in the digital media industry Familiarity with social and emerging media Technical and creative understanding of audio, video and photo production needs a plus Active interest in, or exposure to photography Familiarity with the Interior Design industry is preferred Understanding of the luxury market Strong verbal and written skills
