As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF has invested nearly $2B in research over the past 45 years and is sponsoring scientific research in 17 countries worldwide.Job DescriptionLeads execution and strategy for metro-based chapters (NYC, Long Island, Westchester/Fairfield and Metro New Jersey) for corporate partnerships and account management, including the pursuit of new opportunities, managing and cultivating relationships, metro- implementation of corporate initiatives and driving account engagement to achieve JDRF mission priorities and income targets.Accountability for chapter performance, increasing market penetrationand engagement of corporations. Ensures engagement and mobilization of diverse constituents, staff and volunteers in a prioritized and coordinated way to meet established goals.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads execution of a region strategy for corporate engagement for a sizeable geography, focused on developing new relationships with target corporations and enhancing previous engagement to achieve revenue and mission targets.Aligns corporations and CEO affinities and needs with JDRF priorities and events to achieve regional income goals, support enterprise goals, and to further our impact to mission programs and services.Drives comprehensive corporate alliances through employee & executive engagement, corporate foundation gifts, nationwide consumer engagement opportunities and/or global mission funding opportunities.Manages, coaches, develops, and trains staff in key account management roles.Identifies opportunity and facilitates the development of high impact alliances and partnerships for JDRF and among our corporate and distinguished partners.Leverages volunteers as door openers and relationship builders.Oversees the delivery of high level constituent experience in order to cultivate new expanded opportunities.Partners with region account operations and enterprise support functions to ensure successful corporate program execution, including tracking, planning, implementation and continuous performance feedback.Builds strong relationships and directly collaborates with staff to leverage external affiliations and accomplish shared goals.Collaborates with all departments and metro chapter staff to ensure coordinated and interdependent achievement of region goals; leverages corporate engagement to achieve income and mission goalsMonitors and fosters behavior that establishes a culture that values the staff/volunteer partnership, and is consistent with the values, goals and objectives of JDRF to create an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, empowerment, and dedication to the mission.Partners with marketing, walk, gala, and metro team to build product line and new corporate programs to achieve sustainability.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years professional non-profit fundraising experience, with a clear record of achievement in a complex, mission-driven organization.
