Director of Marketing and Communications, Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs

Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs (SIA), two professional schools co-located in University Park, are seeking an experienced marketing and communications leader to serve as Director of Marketing and Communications for both schools. Reporting to the dean of Penn State Law and SIA and serving as a critical member of the schools' leadership teams, this position is responsible for designing, planning, and executing the strategic marketing plans for both schools in support of their ambitious business objectives. The position supervises three marketing and communications professionals responsible for the strategic design, production, and dissemination of the schools' print and electronic marketing materials, including websites, organic and paid social media campaigns, viewbooks, brochures, direct mail/email campaigns, promotional video production, public relations materials, development and alumni relations collateral, electronic newsletters, and digital and print advertising. Working closely with a hands-on dean who highly values marketing and communications and is active on social media, this position will lead the development of the brands of the two schools and craft strategic, data-driven marketing plans that advance the schools' strategic priorities, attract highly qualified students and faculty, and raise the schools' profiles and reputations.
