The role provides regular updates, monitoring, and document control requirements of all inbound and outbound materials (fuels, gases, cement, and raw materials). Duties include receipt of materials coming into the site, as well as billing, transfer, and coordination of cement shipments. Additionally role acts as primary contact and champion of site Self-Service Loading system.
Function as a safety leader in the plant by demonstrating a personal commitment to working safely and ensuring that the GV Plant continues to eliminate work related risks by increased use of hazard recognition techniques. Function as a strong advocate and leader in promoting a safe working environment for all employees and contractors at the plant.
Work closely with Inbound Terminal Team to coordinate reception and unloading of raw materials.
Manages SAP process improvements (recommend and lead implementation) with regards to inventory control, and billing of products.
Assist with material inventory management and reconciliation.
Assist with customer service duties when required
Assist with carrier account management
Creation of purchase requisitions for transportation and logistics good and services
Good receipts and service entries of non-freight invoices
Act as primary contact for NABS on customer billing issues
Investigate customer billing problems. Achieve resolution of all billing issues, through working with all necessary parties.
Reporting, analysis, and auditing of shipment documents, and logs.
Lead driver safety program for Distribution Department
Act as primary contact and super-user of SSL system including training and account creation for new drivers, system monitoring and troubleshooting.
Capable of manually loading via HMI of cement trucks, as well as proper billing and BOL creation.
Maintains open communication with Sales and Logistics groups in order to maintain consistent terminal operation.
ISO 14001 and 9001 Coordination
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent experience
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Logistics and Transportation or related field
Required Work Experience: 1-3 years experience in the cement and/or similarly related industry involving logistics and process reporting functions.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Proficiency with MS Excel required. SAP experience preferred.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required.
