Marketing Campaign Manager

Adweek is seeking a marketer with experience overseeing promotional campaigns across a variety of platforms to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent project management skills and a deep knowledge of best practices for executing efficient and effective marketing campaigns targeted to niche audiences. This role will be primarily responsible for planning and executing promotional campaigns for Adweek’s slate of 40+ annual events, in addition to other audience-facing initiatives.


The Marketing Campaign Manager will report to the Senior Director, Marketing. Responsibilities include:


  • Owning the omni-channel marketing plan and implementation for all Adweek promotions
  • Overseeing campaigns from start to finish across all owned and paid channels including display, social media, email, event landing pages and more
  • Developing comprehensive marketing plans to achieve specific objectives unique to each campaign, including awareness, lead generation, ticket sales and more
  • Communicating and coordinating campaign plans and schedules with other stakeholders within the organization, including events, design, social media, web development, audience development and other teams
  • Closely monitoring performance metrics and ROI, provide regular reporting and optimize targeting, budgets and other variables accordingly
  • Staying up-to-date on current trends and best practices in digital marketing and event promotion and applying new strategies to current and planned campaigns
  • Managing online properties for all Adweek events
  • Standardizing registration and ticket sales processes
  • Assisting in the creation of event sponsorship sales materials
  • Contributing creative ideas for campaign assets

Job requirements include:


  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing campaign management
  • Event marketing experience a plus
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Strong command of digital and social media marketing best practices
  • Proficiency with digital and social media marketing platforms including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter  
  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects while maintaining a collaborative approach
  • Desire to learn, take on new challenges and expand skill set   
  • Strong work ethic and team player attitude
