VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES (New York, NY)
InsideHook is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join our rapidly growing team. This is a full-time position based in New York City, with competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits.

lnsideHook is looking for a VP of Sales to lead our sales staff and drive partnerships, advertising solutions, and experiences for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, results-driven, and strategic sales leader. S/he will have track record of generating revenue combined with a superior understanding of digital strategy, best practices, and methodologies.
The VP of Sales will partner with the Creative Director, Editor in Chief, Director of Branded Entertainment, and Director of Audience Development to assure advertiser needs are being met and a smooth workflow is maintained between departments. S/he will report directly to the Founder and CEO.
Drive revenue growth and new business opportunities for InsideHook and its affiliates
Identify and seize opportunities for growing existing accounts, as well as identifying new markets and opportunities
Recruit and develop a digital sales team; build a culture that is both collegial and results-driven
Manage and support the sales team through proactive prospecting and maintaining a high-volume pipeline
Craft internal team strategy and execution plans to reach, and ideally exceed, revenue and budget goals
Work closely with the Creative, Content, and Product teams to continually enhance the value of the services and products offered to clients; contribute to InsideHook’s custom content strategies
Collaborate with the Audience and Creative teams to offer partners valuable insights and reporting
Provide ongoing pipeline and forecasting updates to leadership
Dynamic, highly motivated, proactive leader with an entrepreneurial spirit
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
7+ years digital media sales experience; demonstrable success with branded content and email
Proven experience with negotiations, data-driven decision making, and strategic planning and thinking
Strong relationships with agency and client decision makers
Track record of leading and managing successful, results-driven sales teams
Ability to balance individual accountability and a collaborative spirit in pursuit of company goals
History of meeting and ultimately exceeding organizational revenue targets
Familiarity with industry and market trends, ever-changing technology, and an ability to find opportunities where others do not
Working knowledge of Prisma
A desire to help chart the future of digital media and advertising
